It's officially 2013!
While I don't rend to make any resolutions, I did promise to take my health more seriously. Dealing with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), I really don't have much of a choice. Around Christmas time,I did notice that any weight I've lost has slowly started to creep back. A few days ago I reluctantly weighed myself and saw that I shot up to 180lbs (I'm 5'4" 3/4), a weight I haven't been since 2009. From that moment on I decided to finally get serious about exercising.
Now I'm not a big fan of exercising but I've finally come to terms that I'm the type of person that can't go more than 2-3 days without exercising. So with that, This past Sunday (Dec 30th, 2012) I picked myself up and started putting in work. I usually did Zumba Core & Zumba fitness 2 but I saw that at this present time, this wasn't enough for me so, once I was done with those, I decided the best thing for me to do was to start from scratch. It takes 30 days for create a new habit, and since 2012 & 2013 ended/began in the same week I figured that this would be the best time to start.
I initially wanted to do Insanity, but I figured I'd better work up to is so I don't start and then ultimately end up scrapping the exercise thing. What I decided to do was to do a Turbo Fire/BBL hybrid. Today, when I wake up later on, will be day 2 of the hybrid and man my quads, hamstrings & gluts are sore beyond belief but I'm actually enjoying the "pain" and can't wait until I see my results!
