Heat Free Hair

So I'm a little late with this blog entry, forgive me...writing isn't my strong suit. Anywhoo as you can see by the title, the entry is dedicated to  Heat Free Hair.

Back in March, after weeks of watching YouTube videos and pretty much stalking the Heat Free Hair website, I ordered 2 bundles of hair from the For Kurls collection. [ 16 & 18 inches] Upon receiving the hair I washed and dyed it myself (with box dye) and made an appointment at a salon for a sew-in. (My first in a loooong time).  After having the hair installed I can honestly say I fell in love.  I'd say that purchasing  anything from HFH is great for those who

  1. want to see what they'd look like with Natural Hair/ if they grew their hair out.
  2. want colored curls/kinks but don't want to make that commitment with their natural hair
  3. want a sew-in with leave out but don't want to have to flat iron their hair to blend in with any straight/body wave hair.
  4. want/love big hair
Now here is the only downside I've experienced......The PRICE. The bundles range from about $139-$219, with a 16" bundle costing $179 and an 18" bundle costing $189.

I loved the hair so much that I placed another order from the same collection and went on a selfie rampage because the hair was large and I was loving it. I dyed the hair, blew it out, flat ironed it, curl wander it and did wash and go's, with the hair and each and every time the hair revert back to the way it was when i received it.  The only downside to the hair I would say is the price point, but when you want anything of quality expect to pay a pretty penny. If I remember correctly, I paid around $390 per order. I see myself making another purchase in the future, but my bank account needs to heal itself first.

Ok, I lied..another downside I've encountered, was the feeling after uninstalling the hair. I was so used to and in love with how big the hair was that when I finally took the weave out, it took a while form me to look style my hair without feeling bald lol.

Has anyone else tried it?
